Vision

We are developing the SunSaluter to make solar technology more accessible and affordable for everyone.

Roseicollis Technologies Inc. believes that the most disruptive technologies are ones that can be implemented in both developed and emerging markets. In order to preserve our planet and encourage societies to adopt renewable energy resources, we need to lower the cost of solar energy so it is more affordable for individual families in their homes and villages. The SunSaluter is our contribution to tackling energy infrastructure growth and climate change.

The SunSaluter's first pilot in Kenya

Technology

The SunSaluter is like a sunflower. It rotates solar panels to follow the sun to increase their output throughout the day - without using any electricity to do so.

Currently in active development, Roseicollis Technologies Inc.'s SunSaluter is...

  • Cheaper: It is constructed from locally-sourced and recyclable materials rather than electronic components.
  • Simpler: Almost anyone can assemble and maintain it because of its intuitive design.
  • Flexible: It can be installed underneath any existing solar panel with a few minor adjustments.

The SunSaluter is therefore more suitable for solar power projects in different parts of the world. By ensuring that developing communities are optimizing the potential for the energy they can access, we can distribute more solar panels to more communities for a bigger impact. If many panels harness more energy every day, then this means a greater portion of a community could benefit from the increased electricity. The SunSaluter has been deployed in two pilot projects in Kenya, and we are hoping to implement in Peru and southern India this upcoming year.

Partners

Roseicollis Technologies Inc. is excited to be working with a number of partners to scale the SunSaluter. It is a privilege to be sharing resources with and receiving support from them.

Special thanks to Mischa Fierer for designing this website!
